Your Union has been busy on a number of issues facing our membership. We filed grievances in November regarding the delay in your merit pay (which will be paid on December 30 th , retroactive to July 1 st .,) the position that the University has taken that “Satisfactory” is the norm, the RWJMS Incentive Pay system (which was paid on 12/2 and 12/16), and the one week salary “holdback” that took place during the transition from the Banner payroll to the PeopleSoft payroll.
In addition, we continue to represent our members in individual matters of concern, including non-renewals, terminations, violations of Federal laws (FMLA, ADA,) and other changes in terms and conditions of employment. Some of these cases were brought to mediation.
At this time, we are currently negotiating a number of matters, including a new process for evaluations/merit, continuation of our Librarians and Nursing Faculty portions of our contract, the new “Rutgers Health Group” and, we are negotiating the Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine contract.
