Dear AAUP-BHSNJ Members:

Today, April 15th, we met in our small group negotiations. As we described in our last e-mail, this has put us on track to come to a contract settlement.

We have established an excellent negotiating relationship. Today, the parties met and went through the existing articles in our contract and identified mutual high priority items. These include, among other things, Compensation, Intellectual Property Rights and the A&P Guidelines.

We began to map out a process to move toward settlement. Both sides agree that these negotiations have gone on too long and that it is imperative that we do what’s fair for our faculty and librarians.

Our next meeting is on April 30th. We will continue to keep you updated.
